LUMION MODEL
Electroliquid Aggregation: A light rail stop built for sustainability has a structural form embedded harmoniously into the existing environment, residing underground to reduce its visual footprint. Traffic is shifted to an adjacent lane and commuters are directed underground to preserve the existing circulation of people, traffic and streets. Technology is combined with architecture with shifting and rising floor modules that provide interior and places of seating during non peak hours, in which technology adapts to the program of use.
Concepts:
1.) Opposition of Heavy and Light (Light rail stop)
2.) Ambiguity between Land-form and Building (Situating the structure in its landscape, curvilinear forms represent the light rail curving underground and bridge for the above ground)
Clients:
Student and staff, with approximated 300 people in queue during peak hours (by measuring distance of 891 Express queue)
